The SPARC® Enterprise Servers M9000 models are highly reliable, enterprise-grade, vertically-scalable systems that address the high-end processing requirements of mission critical IT projects. There are two different models, the SPARC® Enterprise M9000-32 with up to 32 CPUs and SPARC® Enterprise M9000-64 with expansion cabinet for up to 64 CPUs. With symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) scalability from two to 64 processors, memory subsystems as large as 2 TB, and high-throughput I/O architectures, SPARC® Enterprise servers easily perform the heavy lifting required by workloads such as global enterprise resource planning (ERP), intensive data mining, and complex database transactions.
Furthermore, high-end SPARC® Enterprise servers include built-in features such as Dynamic System Domains, eXtended system boards, and Dynamic Reconfiguration, bringing mainframe-class sophisticated resource control to an open systems compute platform.
