Primecenter 19-inch rack system
Back to product information
The trend toward consolidation by virtualization demands flexible and reliable environments. Are you ready for 19-inch PRIMECENTER rack technology from Fujitsu Siemens Computers? PRIMECENTER racks are the basis for building 19-inch industry-standard rack configurations using the Fujitsu Siemens Computers product range (PRIMERGY, PRIMEPOWER, SPARC Enterprise, PRIMEQUEST, storage products, BS2000) and third-party servers. PRIMECENTER racks are available in heights starting from 12U for office environments to a 46U version or as a stacked 50U rack for data centers.
Ease of service and simple maintenance of the mounted components is ensured by telescopic or sliding rails. The PRIMECENTER rack family meets the latest requirements for flexibility as regards cooling and maintenance, among other things thanks to optimum cable management, and for versatility when it comes to configuring 19-inch rack technology.
The foundation for rack configurations
The PRIMECENTER racks are the foundation for rack configurations with products from Fujitsu Siemens Computers such as servers, operating devices and storage systems. Based on the DIN 41494 and IEC 297 standards, PRIMECENTER racks can also incorporate other products on the market that conform with these standards. The rack can be expanded horizontally and vertically without any problems and dovetails into existing DP environments. In particular, the stacking concept of this rack family means new flexibility in achieving racks of variable height.
PRIMECENTER Racks come in 12, 24, 38 and 46 height units. Two versions with different depths – 1,000 and 1,100 mm – can also be created. PRIMECENTER racks have a patented cable management system, passive ventilation with high throughput for current and future IT products with high heat dissipation, and large vertical expandability with additional bays for 19-inch devices with small space requirements. A key design principle is to ensure ease of service and maintenance for the mounted components.
