The Entry model T1000 incorporates the UltraSPARC T1 processor. This processor delivers with its 8 cores up to 32 simultaneous execution threads and 32 GB of memory. The T1000 model also offers 1 free PCI-E slots, 4 inte-grated Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and 1 SATA disk bay. The Solaris 10 Operating System is preinstalled and pro-vides a highly flexible, efficient and secure application environment. Standard RAS features include advanced lights out manager (ALOM) and supports extended ECC protection. T1000 servers are intended for multithread capable workloads, where throughput, space and optimized power consumption are primary purchasing drivers and where the highest processor and core performance are less important.
